Insulators
With a change to the shape of the rubber and the material, the SL-1210MKX has maintained theTechnics’ signature feel while enhancing feedback suppression.
* The rubber shape has been changed to Flat Rubber Design, and the rubber material to Hybrid Rubber Construction.
Cast Weight
Making use of the design freedom that only Casting affords, the SL-1210MKX pursues advances in mass and a lower centre of gravity. These minimise vibrations for enhanced feedback suppression.

Extended Pitch Range Unlocking a Wide Range of Playing Styles
In addition to the standard ±8%/±16% controls, the pitch add a ±4% range and a ±50% range. From minute tempo adjustment to dramatic pitch changes, the SL-1210MKX can perform in a variety of playing styles. Additionally, the pitch range does not loop between ±4% and ±50%, helping prevent unintended changes.
Coreless Direct Motor Drive for Stable Rotation
The direct drive system uses a slow-turning motor to directly drive the platter, offering high performance, accuracy, and powerful torque without needing part replacements.
Tonearm
The tonearm features a static-balance, S-shape design and high-precision bearings for accurate groove tracking and minimal stylus jumping during scratching.
A support component has been added to the tonearm to prevent looseness at the headshell connection. For this support component, using a curved shape for the pipe connector part and a flat shape for the screw connector enhances holding force.
Reset Button
The SL-1210MKX features the push-type reset button. The half-press function expands the range of creative expression.
Stylus Illuminator
Anti-glare processing on parts that light up means that the tip of the stylus remains visible, making sure users can focus solely on the music.
Customizable Switch
You can customize the LED color, reverse/78 rpm play on/off settings, and brake and torque adjustment (four levels each) to suit your play style. Guide labels for each setting are attached above and below the platter.
